This is how we describe ‘Rocket Singh - Salesman of the Year’. The movie woos you with its simplicity and the ease with which you can relate to it. It sells us the dreams of a common man, with the realistic possibility of attaining them as well. The protagonist ‘Harpreet Singh Bedi’ (Ranbir Kapoor) is just like thousands of other graduates in India, for whom cracking even one of the many entrance exams (specifically CAT) is an attainable dream. So, he gets on with the next best alternative - gaining an entry into the world of sales. How he survives and even succeeds there forms the gist of the story.
